Allopathic doctor
Dr Priya Mehta
11 years in practice · Maharashtra Medical Council · MMC/2014/41207
Internist trained at KEM Mumbai. Spent eight years at a private clinic before joining Atlas to do the medicine she always wanted — slower, more honest, less prescription-pad.
“Most of what we treat as 'wellness' is three boring things done consistently — sleep, food, movement. My job is to figure out which one is broken in your case.”
Priya did her MBBS at Grant Medical College, then her MD in Internal Medicine at KEM Mumbai. She's worked through the COVID years in a tertiary hospital, and the post-COVID years in private practice — which is where she got tired of writing prescriptions for problems that didn't need them.
She joined Atlas in early 2026 because the protocol model lets her do the work she actually trained for: read the whole picture, intervene where it matters, and let the body do its job. She's particularly interested in the metabolic-recovery axis — the boring stuff that compounds.
Outside the clinic, she runs in Shivaji Park most mornings, reads more nineteenth-century novels than is reasonable, and is teaching her daughter to play the harmonium.
