8 years in practice · Delhi Medical Council · DMC/R/2017/22394
Dermatologist with a special interest in androgenetic alopecia in Indian patients. Comfortable saying "this is genetics" and "this is reversible" in the same sentence.
“Hair fall is rarely just genetics. It is signals. We learn to read them, then we treat the cause — not the symptom.”
Anika trained at Maulana Azad Medical College and did her MD Dermatology at AIIMS Delhi. She has spent the last six years in a Defence Colony clinic where roughly half her caseload is hair-related — almost all of it complicated by the things people did before they came in.
Her view: most Indian hair fall sits at the intersection of genetics, micronutrient shortfall, sleep debt, and over-styling. The genetics piece is fixed. The other three are not. The Atlas hair protocol is built around exactly this read.
She's reviewed protocols at Atlas since launch and runs a private monthly newsletter on dermatology in Indian climates that is, in her words, 'embarrassingly nerdy'.
